Job summary

GSF Car Parts Limited is seeking a Warehouse Operative to support branch cover on a zero hour/casual basis. You will assist with picking, packing and despatch, while ensuring accurate stock handling and timely delivery to customers. A strong customer service mindset and ability to work under pressure are essential.

The role involves checking supplier deliveries, loading vans, and verifying stock against our computer system, with average 41-hour weeks on Monday to Friday plus Saturdays as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse or similar environment.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good numeracy and literacy skills.
• Knowledge of car parts is desirable.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Check and put away supplier delivered parts.
• Picking and loading vans accurately and in a timely manner.
• Check customer returns for resale, warranty or surcharge.
• Check stock quantities are correct against computer while ensuring stock is stored in allocated bin locations.
