Job summary

Tru Talent is seeking an experienced Paint Sprayer in Slough to handle water-based vehicle painting. You will prepare surfaces, mix and apply paints, and ensure flawless finishes while following safety and environmental regulations. A strong work history in automotive painting and a City & Guilds or ATA accreditation are preferred.

The role emphasizes teamwork, quality standards, and adherence to schedule with opportunities for additional qualifications and brand training.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to produce high-quality paint spraying from start to finish.
• Experience with water-based paints
• Stable work history in a car painting environment

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, masking, and priming surfaces.
• Mix paint to match colours and apply using spray guns
• Ensure smooth, even paint application without runs, sags, or imperfections
• Perform touch-ups and finish work as required
• Maintain and clean painting equipment; keep workspace tidy
• Adhere to safety and environmental regulations
• Inspect finished work to meet industry standards and customer expectations
• Collaborate with team to maintain workflow and deliver high-quality results
