Join the Automotive Paint Sprayer Role at OFI Institutional Asset Management

E-ppl are leading suppliers of Managed Services within the automotive industry, working with main OEMs in the UK and overseas. We are a specialist contractor supporting vehicle projects, ranging from launch support to reactive quality campaigns. All projects are fully managed, providing turnkey solutions to our customers.
Main Responsibilities
- Remove rust, grease, and dirt from work surfaces.
- Mask and protect parts not to be painted or coated.
- Fill cavities and dents with putty for a smooth surface.
- Mix paint according to specifications.
- Select and mix coating liquids to produce desired colours.
- Paint surfaces using sprayers or brushes as appropriate.
- Inspect painted units for quality, noting any defects.
- Use spray guns safely and keep tools in good condition.
- Maintain a clean work area.
- Wear all required safety and personal protective equipment, including air-fed masks.
- Comply with laws regarding hazardous materials and report deviations.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Spray Painter in a professional workshop.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Skilled, safe working practices and adherence to deadlines.
- Flexibility and ability to work under pressure.
- Practical trade test to assess proficiency.
Benefits
- Hourly pay from £20.00 to £29.60.
- Rotating shifts: 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, and 10pm-6am, Monday to Friday.
- Weekend overtime may be available.
- Ongoing contract paid via limited company or umbrella, outside IR35.
