Job summary

DRVN Automotive Group in Coventry is seeking a Materials Planner to manage inbound materials, components and supplier schedules to ensure uninterrupted production and optimal inventory levels. You will work with suppliers, purchasing and production teams using MRP/ERP systems to maintain material availability and address shortages.

The role requires experience in materials planning, a strong knowledge of Excel, and a proactive approach to supplier management to support efficient stock control in

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems.
• Relevant supply chain experience.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Supplier management experience.
• Inventory control experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan and order raw materials and components in line with production requirements.
• Maintain supplier delivery schedules and monitor inbound material commitments.
• Expedite overdue materials and work with suppliers to resolve delivery risks.
• Analyse inventory levels and forecast material requirements.
• Manage stock levels to support production while avoiding shortages and unnecessary excess.
• Support purchasing and production teams with material availability and supplier information.
