Lotus Cars is seeking a Manufacturing Layout Engineer to join our Manufacturing Engineering team at the Hethel facility. You will create, develop and maintain manufacturing layouts and CAD drawings across current production facilities and new vehicle programmes.

You will work with Engineering, Production, Logistics and Safety to optimise space, equipment integration and operator workflows, ensuring layouts are accurate and deliverable for projects.

Qualifications

• HNC / HND / Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Automotive, Design Engineering or related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD 2D drafting and manufacturing layout development.
• Experience creating and maintaining manufacturing layouts as part of factory projects.

Responsabilités

• Create, modify and maintain manufacturing facility layouts using AutoCAD.
• Develop concept to detailed layouts for current production and new vehicle programmes.
• Support equipment installation, relocation and manufacturing change activities with accurate layouts.
