Job summary

Baltic Recruitment Services Ltd is supporting a global leader in automotive electronics manufacturing by recruiting an experienced Logistics Manager on a fixed-term contract.

The role reports to the Plant Director and focuses on defining and expanding logistics concepts to optimise performance, meet targets and ensure safety standards while managing resources and supplier relationships.

Qualifications

• 5 years vocational experience.
• HNC/Degree qualified or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in automotive logistics is essential.
• Supervisory experience of multiple reports.
• SAP.
• Managing and developing suppliers.
• Managing customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Define, operate and expand Logistics concepts to optimise performance and meet targets.
• Ensure health and safety objectives are met.
• Manage resources to meet strategic objectives.
• Keep abreast of logistics technology and apply improvements for cost-effective running of the function.
• Supervise material and SAP warehouse management.
• Analyse and improve internal plant logistics processes.
• Maintain 5S disciplines.
• Plan and manage logistics resources.
• Analyse root causes of supplier shortages and report lessons learnt.
