Automotive Installation Engineer

Location: Cardiff, CF3 2GA

Salary: Competitive + Overtime + Excellent Benefits!

Contract: Full time, Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours

AIC operates in a niche, rewarding industry, making independent mobility accessible by customizing vehicles to each customer's needs. With over two hundred adaptations, no two days are the same.

Due to the continued growth of our Cardiff branch, we are recruiting an additional Installation Engineer. Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will:

1. Provide a professional installation service for all our products.
2. Occasionally travel to customer and dealership premises.
3. Deal with customers in a friendly and helpful manner.
4. Work according to a weekly and daily schedule.
5. Ensure all work is completed to the highest standard.

We offer an excellent induction and training program, along with ongoing support to help you succeed.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Automotive Mechanic or Engineer with extensive knowledge of Vehicle Mechanics, Electrics, and Body Structures, and have completed a structured training scheme or recognized Apprenticeship. Additionally, you should:

1. Be flexible and committed to high standards.
2. Hold a recognized qualification in Motor Vehicle Mechanics or a related field.
3. Have a good understanding of auto electrical wiring systems.
4. Possess a valid Driving License and be willing to travel and fit products.
5. Be eager to contribute to the branch’s success.
6. Have excellent customer service skills.
