• Degree, HND or Apprenticeship in Electronic Engineering or similar field is required.
• Experience with automotive electronic devices is highly desirable.
• Proven knowledge of root cause analysis and reverse engineering.

• Take ownership of the continuous failure-mode development of legacy products
• Analyse electronic control units and their PCBAs to identify root cause of electronic faults and action best approach for repairs
• Create and maintain technical documentation, ensuring systems and BOMs are updated daily
• Using simulation software to perform testing of electronic automotive signalling devices
• Perform regular bench testing of electronics circuits to assess functionality of products
• Follow and interpret wiring diagrams and pin data
• Utilise a range of PCB rework methods
• Provide coaching and mentoring to Junior Technicians

Skills & Experience

• Degree, HND or Apprenticeship in Electronic Engineering or similar field
• Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of root cause analysis of PCBs
• Proven experience working with wiring diagrams and schematics
• Experienced in reverse engineering
• Previous experience with automotive electronic devices highly desirable
