Are you an EDS Engineer with experience in Creo, seeking a new challenge?

Expleo is a leading global engineering services provider. We are looking for EDS Engineers to support a project involving electrical architecture changes to an existing commercial vehicle chassis, based in Lancashire. This can be a permanent or contract position.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the enhancement of a successful product.

Responsibilities of the EDS Engineer include:

• Supporting the delivery of electrical architecture changes
• Engineering new routing for harnesses
• Incorporating new inline interfaces
• Supporting physical mock-ups and prototype builds
• Considering manufacturing requirements
• Provisions for multiple platform configurations

Skills, qualifications, and background required for the role:

• Ideally a degree in a relevant subject
• Extensive experience in designing and developing automotive wiring harnesses
• Experience using Creo for electrical wire harness design/routing
• Understanding of wire harness manufacturing processes
• Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards and compliance
• Proficiency with Windchill PLM toolset
• Self-sufficient, motivated, and a team player
• Flexible, adaptable, proactive, diplomatic, with excellent communication skills
• Competent in Microsoft Office tools: Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word

Experience in designing wiring harnesses for HGV/PCV applications and familiarity with HGV or PCV chassis is desirable but not essential.
