Automotive Cyber Security Specialist

Employer: WA Consultants | Location: Oxfordshire | Salary: Negotiable | Closing date: 14 May 2025

Sector: IT | Job Role: Cyber Security Consultant | Job Type: Contract

Required for a long-term, remote contract, a Cyber Security consultant with key experience in automotive security.

Role Responsibilities:

• Implementing in-vehicle cybersecurity controls among development teams.
• Ensuring compliance with global cybersecurity regulations and standards, such as UNECE R155 and ISO/SAE 21434.
• Managing Identity and Access Management (IAM), including AUTOSAR Adaptive IAM.
• Maintaining a strong understanding of network Firewalls.
• Working with Vector AUTOSAR (Cybersecurity), Linux, QNX, and Android platforms.
• Familiarity with the SOME/IP protocol, COVESA vsomeip, and Vector SOME/IP solutions.
• Experience as a technical project manager in at least one end-to-end vehicle development phase at a renowned automotive OEM globally.
