Job summary

Dearne Valley College in Rotherham seeks a Lecturer in Motor Vehicle (Accident & Repair) to inspire learners and deliver high-quality training up to Level 3 in practical and theory, including adult learning and specialist courses such as F‑Gas, MOT, and Hybrid/Electric vehicles.

Based in our workshops, you will manage sessions, mentor diverse learners, and help them secure apprenticeships and thriving careers.

Qualifications

• Hold a Level 3+ vocational qualification and a relevant teaching qualification with Assessor Award.
• Experience in accident repair and teaching within Further Education.

Responsibilities

• Deliver theory and practical body repair lessons with engagement.
• Teach panel replacement, welding, bonding, and dent repair.
• Instruct on paint preparation, refinishing and safe practices.
