Job summary

Ganymede Solutions is seeking an experienced Automotive Bodywork Specialist to join our Northamptonshire team. You will perform genuine body repair and restoration on high-end and motorsport vehicles, including fibreglass, carbon fibre, aluminium, steel and plastic parts, plus filler and primer work.

You’ll prepare panels for refinishing and ensure every detail meets exacting standards, across classic and race cars.

Qualifications

• Proven body repair experience with hands-on repair in high-end or motorsport contexts.
• Ability to work with varied materials and high-quality refinishing prep.
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK; sponsorship not provided.

Automotive Bodywork Specialist – Northamptonshire

£20.73 – £21.29 per hour including holiday pay
Approx. £36,075 – £37,050 per year | Days | 20 shifts + Bank Holidays

We're looking for an experienced Bodywork Specialist who has had a genuine passion for cars since leaving school.

This is for someone who doesn't just see cars as a job, but lives and breathes them. Someone who has built their skills through hands-on experience and gets real satisfaction from taking pride in their work and getting every detail right.

You'll be joining a company with over 50 years' experience working on specialist, high-end and motorsport vehicles. The work includes everything from Porsche, Ferrari and Lotus to race cars, replicas and restoration projects.

You'll be carrying out genuine body repair and restoration work, including:

• Fibreglass and carbon fibre repairs
• Aluminium, steel and plastic bodywork
• Filler and primer work
• Panel preparation and masking
• Repairs to damaged or hard-to-replace parts
• Preparing vehicles and components for high-quality refinishing

Some projects can be particularly interesting. You could be working on a classic or race car where a replacement panel simply isn't available, meaning you'll need to repair, reshape and prepare the original part to the highest possible standard.

This is not a vehicle fitting role. We're looking for someone with proper body repair experience, a good eye for detail and the ability to work confidently with different materials.

The ideal person will be enthusiastic about cars, keen to continue developing their skills and excited by the opportunity to work on vehicles you don't see in a normal bodyshop.
