Performance Resourcing is recruiting an Assistant Accountant for a leading franchised car dealer group in Banbury. The role supports the Dealership Accountant and finance team with daily accounting tasks in a busy automotive environment.

Ideal candidates will have dealership accounts experience, Kerridge software skills, and a strong eye for accuracy. Opportunity to develop within a reputable automotive group offering progression and long-term career growth.

Qualifications

• Previous vehicle dealership accounts or finance experience.
• Kerridge accounting software experience, ideally including payroll.
• Franchised car dealership or automotive accounts department experience essential.
• Knowledge of purchase ledger, sales ledger, banking and reconciliations.

Responsabilités

• Reconcile and post daily banking and bank statements.
• Prepare and process manual payments.
• Post and reconcile petty cash and supplier statements.
• Assist with month-end procedures and reporting.
• Support ad hoc projects and communication across departments.
