Job summary

IBM FutureNow in Manchester is seeking an Automation Tester to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks, and to execute functional, regression, integration, and API testing. You will collaborate with developers, analysts, and QA teams to improve software quality, support Agile delivery and CI/CD testing practices, and document test results, defects, and quality metrics.

This role is subject to pre-employment screening in line with the UK Government's Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS). Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise

• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or REST Assured
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or IBM Cloud
• Understanding of performance or security testing conceptsPrevious experience in enterprise or client-facing projects
