• Execute functional, regression, integration, and API testing
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and QA teams to improve software quality
• Support Agile delivery and CI/CD testing practices
• Document test results, defects, and quality metrics
• Contribute to continuous improvement of automation processes and testing coverage

Required Professional and Technical Expertise

• Understanding of software testing principles and QA methodologies
• Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar
• Knowledge of programming or scripting languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#
• Familiarity with Agile or DevOps environments

This role is subject to pre-employment screening in line with the UK Government's Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS). An additional range of Personal Security Controls referred to as National Security Vetting (NVS) may apply, this could include meeting the eligibility requirements for The Security Check (SC) or Developed Vetting (DV).

Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise

• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or REST Assured
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or IBM Cloud
• Understanding of performance or security testing conceptsPrevious experience in enterprise or client-facing projects

Desirable Certifications

• ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL)
• Certified Selenium Tester Foundation (CSTF)
• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)
