Automation Tester (Mainframe OR API OR Java), Northamptonshire

We are hiring for an Automation Tester (Mainframe OR API OR Java).

Location: Hybrid - 2-3 days per week in Northampton or Knutsford Office

Responsibilities:

• Proven experience as an Automation Tester with a focus on mainframe and distributed systems.
• Developing and executing automated tests using Java, Cucumber JVM, and Selenium.
• Understanding of the software testing lifecycle and methodologies.
• Experience with DevOps tools (AWS, Jenkins) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Testing REST APIs with tools like Rest Assured.
• Working knowledge of mainframe technologies: JCL, CICS, SQL (DB2 preferred), FileAid, AbendAid, COBOL, and VSAM.
• Experience with relational databases such as MS SQL Server and Oracle DB.
