Job summary

MyAmici in Hillington, Glasgow, is seeking an Automation Tester to shape the quality of our rapidly growing SaaS platform. You’ll design and build automated test frameworks, work with developers and product managers, and embed testing deeply into our development process.

You’ll enjoy hands-on tooling with Selenium, Playwright or Cypress, and you’ll script across Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python or C#. This role offers a full-time on-site position with a competitive salary and comprehensive

The role

We’re looking for an experienced automation tester who wants to make a real impact on the quality of our fast growing platform. We are looking for an Automation Tester to help us build a testing culture that scales as fast as our product does. You’ll be joining our Engineering team as a key voice on quality, taking the lead on designing and building automated test frameworks that give us confidence to move quickly without compromising on reliability. You’ll work hand‑in‑hand with developers and product managers, embedding quality into every stage of our development process, not just testing at the end.

What you’ll be doing?

• Building and maintaining automated test frameworks across web and API layers
• Embedding automated testing into our CI/CD pipelines
• Partnering with developers to catch issues earlier in the development cycle
• Investigating and reporting on defects, and digging into root causes
• Mentoring other testers and championing quality best practices across the team
• Helping us evaluate and adopt new tools and approaches as we scale

What are we looking for?

• Solid experience testing SaaS or cloud-based applications
• Strong hands‑on automation experience with tools like Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress
• Comfortable scripting in Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or C#
• Experience with API testing and CI/CD integration
• A collaborative, quality-first mindset and great communication skills
