Job summary

Gerrell & Hard is seeking a Software Engineer to provide software support for production lines in Southampton and to assist services/quality and R&D as required. You will develop software to automate bespoke ATE systems, review databases and stored procedures, and resolve software issues across manufacturing lines.

You will work with Mechanical/Hardware engineers in the operations test team and with R&D on NVI/NPI software projects, delivering robust software solutions for hardware control

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience with LabVIEW in production testing.
• Knowledge of NI hardware interfaces.
• Experience debugging software for hardware control.
• Collaborative across departments.

Responsibilities

• Develop software to automate bespoke ATE systems for Southampton production lines.
• Review or develop software and stored procedures for production testing.
• Investigate and resolve software issues to support manufacturing lines in Southampton.
• Collaborate with R&D for NVI/NPI software development work.
