Job summary

BlueOptima seeks an associate SDET for its Belfast team to automate tests across UI and API, building robust automated test suites integrated with CI/CD pipelines. The role focuses on data-centric and integration test coverage to reduce manual testing efforts and speed up deliveries.

Ideal candidates have a strong Java background, experience with Selenium, and familiarity with Linux, scripting (Shell/Python), and version control. Hybrid work arrangement in Belfast is offered with remote options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (CS/IT) or 1 to 3 years of professional experience in software development or software testing.
• Experience writing code in an Object-Oriented language such as Java.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git, Subversion

Responsibilities

• Work with engineering and architecture to implement the plan developed for automating test cases and ensuring adequate automation coverage.
• Create and maintain of test automation (both UI and API) within CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure the expected behaviour of code prior to product releases.
• Increase overall coverage of automation suite.
• Curate reports for the stakeholders
