Job summary

The Money and Pensions Service (MaPS) in Bedford is seeking a Test Engineer to help deliver high-quality digital services that matter to people across the UK. You will be embedded in a Scrum team, designing and executing tests, and contributing to automated testing and quality practices.

You'll work with Product Managers, Analysts and Developers to ensure requirements are testable, manage defects, and provide visibility of quality risks, while expanding automated test coverage and supporting

Qualifications

• Strong experience in automation testing across web apps.
• Proficient in Playwright with TypeScript.
• Experience creating and maintaining automation frameworks.
• Experience working in a Scrum/Agile team.

Responsibilities

• Support automated testing process and maintain the framework.
• Create automated regression packs and contribute tests.
• Collaborate with Product Teams and QA to deliver quality.
• Raise risks from automation results and improve test maturity.
