Automation Test Analyst | S2 | Payments Technology, Milton Keynes

Join our community at Santander UK as an Automation Test Analyst within the Payments & Open Banking Centre of Excellence (CoE). This role involves implementing and executing automation testing strategies across various applications and systems, contributing to our digital transformation and customer service excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and execute automation testing frameworks and scripts for Payments & Open Banking, including performance testing for SIT, UAT, and EE phases.
2. Collaborate with vendors like PagoNxt to assess and incorporate their deliverables into testing environments.
3. Develop testing strategies in partnership with the Test Lead and the Testing Centre of Excellence to ensure comprehensive automated coverage.
4. Promote team efficiency through a hybrid manual and automation testing approach.
5. Prepare reports with metrics, findings, and remedial actions for senior management to support QA deliverables.

Essential Qualifications:

• Expertise in automation testing for Web, API (Restful API), and mobile applications, including mobile device farm testing.
• Proficiency in Java, Selenium, Cucumber, and tools like Git, Jenkins, Postman, Confluence, Jira, X-ray.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and implementing CI/CD, TDD/BDD practices.
• Ability to work effectively with stakeholders to ensure test coverage, design, execution, and defect management.
• Skills in building metrics and automated systems for quality analysis.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with JMeter performance testing.
• Knowledge of UK Payments flows and Open Banking.
• Experience collaborating with multiple suppliers.
• Interest in market trends in automation tools and technologies.
