Job summary

Seven Investment Management is seeking an experienced QA professional to support Agile Squad delivery with an automation-first mindset. You will validate complex business systems, design robust test scenarios and work closely with Product Owners, Developers and Analysts to ensure release readiness.

The role emphasizes manual testing excellence, risk-based thinking, and collaboration to advance a Quality Engineering culture within 7IM.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in manual testing across complex business and technology solutions.
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking to assess requirements and risks.
• Exploratory testing skills to uncover issues beyond documented requirements.
• Clear communication and stakeholder management for testing outcomes.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, Test Lifecycle, and ISTQB best practice techniques.
• Experience with risk-based testing strategies and test data handling.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality manual testing across Squad deliverables with self-managed testing activities.
• Analyze functional requirements to identify risks, gaps, ambiguities, and clarifications for quality outcomes early.
• Define and execute diverse test approaches including functional, integration, regression, exploratory and usability testing.
• Create and maintain test scenarios, test cases, data sets and evidence for audits.
• Design data generation, manipulation and validation using SQL to support tests.
• Communicate testing outcomes and risks to stakeholders to inform release readiness.
• Identify opportunities to improve testing practices and share knowledge across the Test Chapter.
• Promote a quality-first culture with early testing involvement and strong quality engineering principles.
• Mentor team members to raise overall testing capability within the Squad and wider team.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Analysts, Developers to ensure testability and alignment with business goals.
• Contribute to release planning and go-live assessments with quality metrics.
