SSE plc is recruiting a Construction Automation Technician to support the installation, maintenance, commissioning and fault resolution of remotely controlled switchgear and communication systems across the 11kV distribution network.
You will diagnose faults, install automation schemes, monitor contractors and ensure compliance with safety standards while advancing your authorisations and training.
Base Location: New Forest, Poole, Salisbury or Yeovil
Salary: £45,452 - £54,311 depending on skills and experience + car/cash allowance + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

This is a key role supporting the installation, maintenance, commissioning and fault resolution of remotely controlled switchgear and associated communication systems across the electrical distribution network up to 11kV. You will help ensure our network remains safe, reliable and responsive for customers.
