An experienced Automation Technician with knowledge of industrial instrumentation & PLC systems is wanted to join a leading manufacturing company in Hartlepool.

Your primary duties will be to maintain and improve control & automation systems across an industrial manufacturing operation.

What You’ll Be Doing

Identifying and fixing problems in PLC, SCADA, and industrial control systems

Servicing and calibrating instrumentation, control loops, and variable speed drives.

Supporting automation equipment upgrades and commissioning processes.

Guaranteeing compliance with safety, quality, and operational efficiency standards.

Working with engineers and operators to improve performance and reliability.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

HNC/HND in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Control Engineering

Hands-on experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting (Siemens / Allen Bradley).

Knowledge of SCADA, HMI, Profibus, and Profinet networks.

A background in an industrial manufacturing/engineering environment
