Are you an experienced Automation Technician or Control Systems Engineer ready to take the next step in your career? We’re looking for multiple skilled professionals to join a dynamic and growing team designing and assembling bespoke automation systems used around the globe.
This is a hybrid role combining hands-on electrical control system work with software programming — perfect for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and working across the full project lifecycle.
Designing PLC-based electrical control systems
Programming PLCs, HMIs, safety systems, and configuring drives and remote I/O
Integrating equipment such as vision systems, servos, and conveyors
Fault-finding, testing, and commissioning machines in-house and on client sites
Collaborating with electricians, panel builders, and wider teams for smooth assembly and deployment
Occasional international travel for commissioning (approx. 40%)
Level 3 qualification or higher in Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering
Strong experience with Siemens and/or Allen Bradley PLCs
Confidence in PLC/HMI programming and understanding of SCADA systems
Able to troubleshoot electrical control systems and perform onsite commissioning
A demonstrable career path and technical progression
Willingness to travel internationally as part of project support
Background in pharmaceutical, process, or high-spec manufacturing
Exposure to systems involving ATEX/explosive environments
Familiarity with remote I/O, vision systems, or servo configuration
Salary up to £50,000 (DOE)
Discretionary annual bonus
23 days holiday + bank holidays + 2 discretionary days

Monday to Friday days-based role (core hours: 09:00–12:30 and 14:00–16:00)
