At E.ON Next, QA is embedded from the start. You'll work in cross-functional squads where everyone shares responsibility for quality. Our culture supports exploration, bold thinking, and challenging the status quo - whether that's rethinking a test strategy or raising a red flag on UX.

We're flexible in how we work - remote/hybrid options, working hours that suit your life, and a team that values well-being and inclusion.

As an Automation QA Engineer, you'll help us accelerate delivery and increase confidence through smart, scalable test automation and quality advocacy.

  • Develop, maintain, and extend automated tests using Cypress, Playwright, and Appium.
  • Contribute to CI/CD automation pipelines (GitLab), integrating tools like Applitools for visual testing.
  • Mock APIs to support frontend testing and accelerate development cycles.
  • Leverage AI to enhance test creation, defect detection, and reporting efficiency.
  • Drive improvements in test coverage, speed, feedback loops, and overall pipeline quality.
  • Promote a quality-first mindset through collaboration, shift-left practices, and support for both automation and manual testing.

Are we the perfect match?

  • 4+ years in QA Engineering, including 2+ years in JavaScript-based test automation with Cypress, Playwright, and Appium.
  • Proficient in API mocking, web and native mobile testing, and tools like Postman, BrowserStack/SauceLabs, and Applitools.
  • Experienced with GitLab CI/CD, version control, and orchestrating tests across environments.
  • Strong exploratory testing skills with a structured approach (ISTQB certified or equivalent knowledge).
  • Exposure to or interest in AI-powered tools for test generation, defect triage, and visual diffing.
  • Collaborative, self-driven, comfortable working in Agile teams using Jira or Azure DevOps, and confident in constructively challenging decisions.

It would be great if you had

  • Experience testing high-traffic consumer-facing applications
  • Familiarity with TDD, BDD, NoSQL, performance and accessibility testing
  • Working knowledge of Xcode, Android Studio, REST APIs, API management
  • Passion for innovation, continuous improvement, and smart use of emerging tech
