Job summary

Anson McCade is seeking a hands-on Quality Automation Engineer to join a leading global technology and professional services organisation. You’ll develop and improve Quality Engineering strategies across diverse industries, working with Playwright/Selenium and cloud environments.

Role requires several years of QA/Test Automation experience, strong coding skills, and familiarity with CI/CD. You’ll mentor others, engage with stakeholders, and explore GenAI tools like GitHub Copilot and Claude to

Qualifications

• Several years’ experience in Quality Engineering, Test Automation or a similar role.
• Strong hands-on automation and coding experience.
• Experience with Playwright and/or Selenium.
• Experience with an object-oriented programming language.
• Experience working with AWS, Azure or another major cloud platform.
• Understanding of CI/CD and shift-left testing.
• Some experience leading, mentoring or technically guiding others.
• Strong communication and stakeholder skills.
• An interest in GenAI and continuous self-development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated testing solutions using Playwright and/or Selenium.
• Work hands-on with code using Java, C#, TypeScript, Python or similar.
• Read and review code and investigate defects through technical and stack analysis.
• Work with cloud environments including AWS and/or Azure.
• Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines and apply shift-left testing principles.
• Work closely with developers, stakeholders and wider engineering teams.
• Contribute to Quality Engineering communities and continuously develop your skills.
• Explore and use GenAI tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude.
