Oxford Nanopore Technologies is seeking a Software Automation Test Engineer to join our Oxford team. You will design and implement automated and manual tests to ensure our sequencing software meets requirements, working with cross-functional teams in an agile setting.

The role requires a degree and hands-on testing experience across desktop and mobile platforms. You will contribute to test plans, write automated tests using Pytest/Jest/Robot/Behave, and report defects with objective feedback to

• Experience with automated testing of desktop and/or mobile software.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute automated and manual tests per standards.
• Create test plans, cases, and reports for functional and non-functional requirements.
• Collaborate with software developers and project teams in an agile environment.
• Write bug reports and provide actionable feedback to the team.
• Perform platform testing across desktop, tablet and mobile (Linux, OSX, Windows).
