The Job

The Automation QA Engineer role within Kuoni Tumlare involves delivering testing across various projects and IT developments & applications. Working closely with software developers to analyze and resolve defects, this role is crucial in ensuring quality delivery and maintenance of software and applications.

• Collaborate with business analysts and software developers to define testing scope for legacy and new web-based systems.
• Provide accurate estimates and feedback for project planning and scheduling.
• Design and maintain test scripts for review with the Product Manager before testing.
• Test software throughout all development phases, including early, release, and BAU stages, across various systems.
• Execute automated and manual tests (functional/regression).
• Review test results against expected outcomes based on acceptance criteria.
• Analyze, report, and track test issues; re-test fixes during testing and live stages.
• Work with developers to analyze and resolve defects identified during testing.
• Support Business Analysis and support tasks as needed.

Minimum Requirements

To succeed, you must have:

• Experience with technical and common project methodologies in Quality Assurance.
• At least 3 years of experience in an automation QA role, working on BSS applications and transformation projects.
• Experience with automation frameworks and tools for web and desktop applications.
• Knowledge of automation principles, practices, and testing techniques (white and black box).
• Ability to create and expand automation test suites.
• Experience with API automation.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, or Java.
• Experience reviewing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Ability to identify and track bugs using JIRA.
• Knowledge of the travel industry is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Strong problem-solving, technical, and collaborative skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, with flexibility and accountability.
