Location: Harlow, Essex (3–4 Days On-Site)

Contract Length: 6–9 Months

Day Rate: £400/Day (Outside IR35)

Our client – a leading name in the pharmaceutical sector – is embarking on a major warehouse automation project and is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join on a contract basis.

The project involves the implementation of AutoStore, a cutting-edge robotic storage and retrieval system. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead the transformation of one of their key warehouses, helping drive efficiency and innovation in their supply chain operations.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience delivering automation/robotics projects within the supply chain/logistics sector
  • Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and integration with automation technologies
  • Hands-on experience with AutoStore or similar robotics systems highly desirable
  • Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams (IT, Operations, Engineering)
  • Strong stakeholder management and vendor coordination experience
  • Immediate availability required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and execution of a warehouse automation project from end to end
  • Act as the primary point of contact for vendors and internal stakeholders
  • Ensure seamless integration between WMS and AutoStore technologies
  • Manage timelines, risks, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful deployment
  • Support operational change and user adoption post-implementation
