A leading technical recruitment consultancy in Sheffield is looking for an experienced Netbackup Engineer. This role involves designing, developing, and supporting automation for enterprise storage data protection services. Responsibilities include building and supporting automation and monitoring, providing engineering support for storage products, evaluating new features, and mentoring junior engineers. Ideal candidates will have expertise in Ansible, Puppet, Veritas NetBackup, and Commvault.

Qualifications

• Experience with Ansible and Puppet.
• Experience in designing and testing REST APIs.
• Strong experience with GitHub, Jenkins, CloudBees, Jira, Confluence.
• Expertise in Veritas NetBackup and Commvault.

Responsibilities

• Build and support automation for Storage data protection platforms.
• Provide engineering support for Storage data protection products.
• Evaluate products and new features.
• Produce documentation and mentor junior engineers.
