Established international business with a successful track record, now looking to expand into the UK market by opening a software house to support UK and EU projects. We are urgently seeking a driven Automation Business Lead with strong business acumen and experience in industrial automation systems.

Key Requirements:

• Proficiency in PCS7 or PlantPax for batch process control systems
• Experience with Siemens DCS, PLC, HMI, and SCADA
• Ability to design and program automation hardware and software
• Experience in technical documentation, safety systems, and communication protocols
• Leadership skills to lead teams and manage projects
• Willingness to travel internationally and work on-site at overseas project locations

Role Details:

• Design and implement automation control systems for blue-chip clients, mainly in the FMCG sector
• Engage with clients to understand their technical needs and develop solutions
• Carry out installation, commissioning, and ongoing support activities
• Build and lead a team of engineers and technicians over time

Location and Compensation:

• Home-based position initially, with a future office location in South West, West Midlands, or North West UK
• Salary negotiable based on experience, with uncapped bonuses potentially earning £150k+
• Additional benefits include car allowance (post-probation), overseas travel allowances, paid overtime/TOIL, pension, and flexible travel requirements (~20-30% international travel)
