Saint-Gobain Glass UK & Ireland is seeking a Control & Instrumentation Engineer at Eggborough to maintain and extend our on-site automation, instrumentation and network capabilities. You will drive reliability and implement Industry 4.0 initiatives to keep our world-class manufacturing running at peak performance.

You will manage capital projects, coordinate with contractors, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards while promoting continuous improvement and WCM practices across

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Control, Automation or Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
• Experience with PLCs, SCADA, industrial networks.
• Experience managing contractors and projects.

Responsabilités

• Maintain and develop Control, Automation & Instrumentation on site, incl. PLCs, Drives, SCADA and networks.
• Develop and implement process and system improvements for reliability and performance.
• Manage approved capital projects from inception to delivery.
• Keep team informed on new developments, technologies and regulations.
• Ensure health, safety, environment and social responsibilities compliance.
• Support manufacturing to improve product quality and line efficiency.
• Provide out-of-hours support and drive World Class Manufacturing initiatives.
