Job summary

Plan B is seeking a Gate Engineer to cover Greater / Central London, focusing on automated gates, barriers and perimeter access systems. You will install, service and fault-find on sliding electric gates, speed gates, rising bollards and traffic barriers across commercial, industrial and residential sites, applying electromechanical automation and safety system know-how.

You will contribute to installation, commissioning and upgrades, support on-call rota for emergencies, and comply with DHF

Qualifications

Experience as Gate/Barrier Engineer or Gate Automation Specialist.
Hands-on experience with listed automation systems (CAME/FAAC/BFT/HTC/Eagle).
Confident electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills with control boards (230V/24V).
UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

Carry out planned maintenance, fault diagnosis and repairs on automatic gates and barriers.
Install, commission and upgrade electromechanical and hydraulic automation systems.
Comply with DHF safety standards and site regulations.
Complete first and second fix installation work across sites.
Support a regional on-call rota for emergencies.
