Job summary

Almac Group in Craigavon, Northern Ireland, is offering an Automation Engineering placement within the Automation Engineering Project department. You will assist Project, Process and Automation Engineers with design, project management, commissioning and operation of plant and systems to cGMP standards.

You will gain hands-on experience designing and commissioning Automation Control Systems, Environmental Monitoring Systems and Building Management Systems, with the goal of leading your own

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the UK or have a valid UK work permit.
• Educated to A Level standard (or equiv.)
• Currently studying an Engineering based degree with successful completion of 2 years by the end of this academic year.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Engineers in designing and commissioning Automation Control Systems, Environmental Monitoring Systems and Building Management Systems.
• Lead your own project before the end of the placement year.
• Train with and gain exposure to various control and monitoring systems and assist in maintenance duties.
