Ernest Gordon Recruitment is assisting a family-owned automation specialist in Plymouth to recruit an Automation Engineer (Siemens/Allen Bradley). You will design and implement PLC programs, upgrade HMIs, and provide SCADA support for a worldwide client base.

In this role you will be responsible for developing PLC programs, HMI screenwriting and upgrades, providing SCADA support, and commissioning systems for a variety of clients. This role will be predominately working with Siemens and Allen Bradley PLCs, and you will be involved in the manufacturing process from initial concept through to commissioning.

This role would suit an Automation Engineer, Controls Engineer or similar, looking for a role in a family run advanced automation business, who supply their bespoke machinery on a worldwide scale, with the added benefits of increased holiday entitlement with service, overtime earning potential, and exposure to bespoke automation projects.
