Role Responsibilities:

• Design and develop automation and performance solutions, creating reliable, reusable automated regression suites and test harnesses.
• Create tools and frameworks with quality code to simplify testing scenarios.
• Develop test plans and cases based on specifications, execute tests, and analyze/report results.
• Collaborate with development teams to deliver quality business functionality on time.
• Lead testing efforts, plan work, and assign tasks to team members.
• Experience with UI Test Automation tools using Java, preferably Selenium.
• Knowledge of frameworks like Cucumber is a plus.
• Hands-on scripting and framework development experience.
• Guide project staff with testing expertise.
• Review and approve testing scripts, results, and defect reports, ensuring best practices.
• Focus on Web, API, and Database testing solutions.
• Participate in Agile meetings, project scoping, and reviews.
• Contribute to requirements, architecture, and test strategy discussions.
• Engage in functional, system, and regression testing activities.
• Gather quality metrics and perform risk analysis.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and version control tools like GIT.

Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5-8 years of relevant experience, including 6+ years in software testing.
• Expertise in QA methodologies, automation testing with Selenium, and scripting.
• Experience with SOAP/REST, SQL, and distributed source control systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle sensitive information with integrity.
• Experience in Agile environments and familiarity with change management tools.
