Job summary

Mishcon de Reya’s AI and Engineering team is expanding to deliver practical AI, automation, and integration capabilities for legal practice and business operations in London. The Automation Engineer will focus on Power Platform, APIs, integrations, and reliable process automation, working with the existing low-code engineering capability.

Qualifications

• Experience with APIs, integrations, cloud services and event-driven or workflow-based solutions.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals including version control and testing.
• Ability to translate processes into technical designs and testable outcomes.
• Clear written and verbal communication with multidisciplinary teams.
• Pragmatic experimentation with safe testing and iterative improvement.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and support workflow automation across legal practice and business operations.
• Use Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse) and APIs.
• Collaborate with Product, AI/Innovation Lead and security teams to deliver reliable automation.
• Ensure secure integrations and governance, while avoiding data duplication.
• Maintain technical documentation, release records and rollback plans.
