Job summary

Mizkan Euro Ltd in the United Kingdom seeks an experienced Automation Engineer to support our manufacturing operations, enhance automation systems and drive performance improvements.

You'll work with cutting-edge automation technology, including Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs, and lead projects, mentor engineers and deliver world-class performance across rotating shifts. This role offers strong career development in a leading FMCG manufacturer.

Qualifications

• Electrical/Automation engineering degree or equivalent.
• Experience with PLC, HMI and SCADA systems in fast-paced production.
• Background in FMCG/food manufacturing.
• Ability to coach and mentor other engineers.
• Knowledge of industrial networking and sensors advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise across the site’s manufacturing operation.
• Support shift engineers with troubleshooting and guidance.
• Maintain and improve PLC, HMI and SCADA systems.
• Deliver automation projects and process improvements with cross‑functional teams.
• Coach and mentor engineers to develop automation knowledge.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement to improve reliability, efficiency and performance.
