Job summary

ABCA Systems Ltd in Hull is seeking experienced Automation Engineers to service, maintain and repair automatic doors, roller shutters, fire shutters, and gates. You will diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, install and commission new systems, and ensure work meets safety regulations.

The role offers a permanent, full-time position with a company vehicle, benefits and holidays, and a £500 welcome bonus for direct applicants after joining and probation.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Experience with automatic doors, roller shutters, fire shutters or gates and barriers is preferred.
• Full UK driving licence is required.
• ADSA Certification and DHF Qualifications are advantageous.
• BS EN 16005 knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair automatic doors, roller shutters, fire shutters, gates and barriers.
• Fault find mechanical and electrical issues with equipment on-site.
• Carry out installation and commissioning works.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant regulations and quality standards.
• Complete service and maintenance reports accurately and provide excellent customer service on site.
