Job Title: SDET/AQA
We are currently seeking an SDET/AQA to join our expanding Quality Assurance (QA) team. This role offers the opportunity to work with the latest technologies, learn new skills daily, and utilize your initiative.
This intermediate position is ideal for individuals pursuing a career in automation testing. You will contribute to automation testing growth within a professional software development environment. Your responsibilities will include:
- Understanding project documents, customer demands, and product objectives to create and execute test cases.
- Setting up, maintaining, and executing test automation frameworks for backend applications and services.
- Managing test pipelines and ensuring their overall health.
- Collaborating effectively with different teams and products.
- Keeping up with sprint, release, and product goals.
- Creating, maintaining, and linking manual tests with automation tests for traceability.
- Developing and managing Requirement Traceability Matrices (RTM) to monitor testing status and risks related to sprints or releases.
- Building test scenarios and acceptance tests.
- Researching testing tools, methodologies, and trends to upgrade practices and processes.
- Reporting new defects and updating existing defect statuses based on testing feedback.
- Guiding junior team members in developing test scripts and overseeing test automation frameworks.
- Managing final quality assurance for production releases.
- Approving release documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy for software users.
The Candidate
We seek experienced software testers with:
- At least 5 years of experience in automation testing.
- Knowledge of compiled languages such as C, C++, C#, or Fortran is desirable.
- Experience in API and library testing is desirable.
- Simulation-based testing experience is desirable.
- Strong designing and programming skills.
- Knowledge of programming languages and process management methodologies.
- Familiarity with test methodologies and tools.
- Experience with Behaviour Driven Development and testing.
- The ability to identify risks and errors in applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to stay current with evolving technology trends.
- A passion for testing, development, and design.
- Leadership qualities to guide team members.
