Job summary

ARM in Manchester is seeking an Automation Engineer for a 12-month contract with hybrid work (2-3 days on site weekly). You will design, build, and maintain automated test suites spanning functional, API, integration, and end-to-end testing to improve software quality.

You will collaborate with engineers and product teams to embed quality practices, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, and drive test coverage and efficiency across delivery cycles.

Qualifications

• Experience in test automation with at least one framework.
• Experience with API testing and end-to-end testing.
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test solutions.
• Building and executing functional, API, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Working closely with software engineers, product teams, and stakeholders to improve quality across the development lifecycle.
• Contributing to CI/CD pipelines and ensuring automated testing is integrated into delivery processes.
• Identifying opportunities to improve test coverage, reliability, and efficiency.
• Supporting the adoption of quality engineering best practices across development teams.
• Participating in code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
