Automation / Controls Engineer

Craigavon, Co. Armagh

We’re on the lookout for an experienced Automation / Controls Engineer who knows their way around VSDs, PLC programming and HMI development. This isn’t just about sitting behind a desk – you’ll be hands-on, problem-solving, and making a real difference to customers across a mix of industries.

What you’ll be doing

• Programming and commissioning PLCs and HMIs


• Setting up and optimising variable speed drives


• Working on bespoke control systems from design through to installation


• Troubleshooting, supporting, and getting systems running smarter for clients


• Getting stuck into varied projects – anything from food and dairy to marine and heavy industry

What we’re looking for

• Solid background in automation and controls engineering


• Comfortable with PLC programming (ladder logic or similar)


• Experience with variable speed drives and HMI development


• Problem-solver who enjoys tackling technical challenges head-on


• Someone who doesn’t mind being customer-facing and on-site when needed
