Job summary

Korn Ferry is recruiting for an Automation Engineer on a hybrid contract in City of London. The role offers 50% on-site work, a day rate of up to £400, and an initial term of six months with the possibility of extension.

Responsibilities include planning and delivering upgrades, ensuring security and vendor compliance, administering Windows and Linux apps, building CI/CD pipelines, and advancing IaC and DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• Experience administering enterprise applications on Windows and Linux.
• Experience delivering production upgrades.
• Scripting and automation with PowerShell, Bash or Python.
• Experience with Ansible for configuration management.
• Knowledge of app servers, middleware and databases.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.

• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible.
• Experience with application servers, middleware and databases.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.

Desirable Criteria

• Experience integrating Artifactory, Xray and SonarQube into CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with application release management, dependency management and repository governance.
• Experience designing, implementing and maintaining GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitoring and observability tools
