Job summary

Hunter Bond is seeking an Assistant Accountant in the United Kingdom to join a fast-paced, technology-driven finance team. The role focuses on producing accurate financial information and driving process improvements through automation and analytics.

Responsibilities include monthly reporting, developing automated processes, and supporting budgeting, forecasting, and audits in collaboration with Finance and Technology teams. Strong Excel and accounting background required.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounting or audit functions.
• Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables and Macros.
• Experience with SQL, Python or VBA is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reporting.
• Develop automated finance processes using Python/SQL/VBA.
• Support accounts payable/receivable and general ledger activities; assist budgeting and forecasting.

Education

Degree in Accounting or Finance

ACCA or CIMA (part-qualified)
