Are you an Automation & Controls Engineer who thrives on variety and problem-solving? This role offers the chance to work across multiple industries, tackling complex challenges that keep production lines moving and critical systems running.

The Opportunity

This is not a corporate box-ticking role. You’ll be part of a close-knit engineering team delivering real solutions—everything from fault finding on live systems to full automation projects. With the business recently expanding its 24/7 service contracts, the work is fast-paced, critical, and hugely rewarding.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Fault finding across electrical, software, and control systems
  • Supporting customers in industries such as food, utilities, and manufacturing
  • Designing, programming, and commissioning bespoke automation solutions
  • Balancing site work with project delivery and technical office tasks
What We’re Looking For
  • 3+ years’ experience in automation/controls engineering
  • HNC or higher in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and hands-on approach
  • Comfortable working in a mix of field and office environments
