Job summary

TSM Technical Ltd is recruiting an experienced Automatic Door Engineer to service, maintain and install a range of automatic doors across London and surrounding areas. The role covers fault finding, repairs, and support for roller shutters, gates and barriers when required.

Expect strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills, the ability to work independently, and a full UK driving licence. On-call rota and career progression opportunities are included.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Automatic Door Engineer.
• Experience servicing, maintaining and installing automatic doors.
• Experience with roller shutters, gates and barriers would be advantageous.
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair automatic doors, including sliding, swing, revolving and folding doors.
• Install and commission automatic door systems.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdown repairs.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and complete repairs efficiently.
• Work on roller shutters, gates and barriers when required.
• Complete service reports and compliance paperwork accurately.
• Deliver a professional, customer-focused service.
• Participate in the company's on-call service.
