Job description

Key Accountabilities
  • Ensure jobs are cured in the correct order for the composite production schedule and maintain the autoclaves and oven.
  • Operate autoclaves to cure composite parts according to detailed process specifications and work instructions.
  • Load and unload components into the autoclave using appropriate handling equipment, keeping accurate records of the autoclave and oven cures.
  • Monitor temperature, pressure, and vacuum levels throughout the curing cycle.
  • Record and maintain accurate process data and batch records.
  • Perform pre- and post-inspection of parts to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks and report equipment issues promptly.
  • Work closely with quality and engineering teams to resolve process deviations.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing process.
The Person
  • Good PC skills and the ability to work well as part of a team are essential.
  • Excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work under pressure are required.
