Job summary

A leading design and manufacturing company in Huddersfield is seeking a highly motivated AutoCAD Technician to join their dynamic design team. The successful candidate will produce and modify technical drawings, collaborate with teams to ensure designs meet specifications, and create 3D visualizations for client presentations. Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks is essential, alongside a strong attention to detail and good communication skills.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks (or similar 3D modelling software).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting and design work.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Experience in stainless steel fabrication or commercial catering equipment (but not essential).

Responsibilities

• Create, update, and maintain technical drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Collaborate with sales and production teams to ensure design accuracy and manufacturability.
• Produce 3D visuals and renderings to support client presentations and internal planning.
• Interpret client briefs and translate them into practical, production-ready designs.
• Ensure all drawings adhere to industry standards and company quality guidelines.

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking ahighly motivated and detail-oriented AutoCAD Technicianto join our dynamic design team atTriline Contracts Ltd.

In this role, you will be responsible for producing and modifying detailed technical drawings usingAutoCAD and SolidWorks, supporting both our sales and production teams to ensure designs meet client specifications. You will also play a key role in creating3D visualisationsto assist the sales team in presenting concepts to clients.
