Hill McGlynn Recruitment Limited are recruiting for a Design Technician / AutoCAD Technician for a well-established construction consultancy in Maidstone, Kent. The role focuses on producing accurate technical drawings and supporting design development from concept through to completion.

The ideal candidate will have proficiency in AutoCAD, a solid understanding of UK Building Regulations and experience in construction design.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
• Good working knowledge of UK Building Regulations.
• Previous experience in a similar design or technician role within construction.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Producing accurate technical drawings using AutoCAD.
• Assisting with the design and development of construction projects.
• Interpreting and applying UK Building Regulations to design work.
• Collaborating with project teams to ensure designs meet client and regulatory requirements.
• Supporting project delivery from concept through to completion.
